| Abstract | This study is aimed to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of prehospital resuscitation by emergency healthcare providers and bystanders to out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients. This study also tries to find the rapid and efficient emergency medical services to increase the rate of OHCA patients to return of spontaneous circulation. There were 5,102 OHCA cases in New Taipei City between 2013 to 2014 which were reviewed and analyzed in this study. The result reveals that the survival of OHCA patients are significant differences between the season of spring and winter, metro and rural area, age, bystander CPR, time to arrival, and defibrillation.
