| Abstract | With the continuous pursuit of quality of life and the evolution of science, technology and culture, mankind has promoted the rapid development of industrialization and high technology, which is accompanied by the rapid increase in the types of chemical substances and their use. Coupled with the rising public awareness of environmental protection, the management of chemical substances is becoming increasingly important. In order to properly manage the toxic chemical substances and environmental agents listed in the Environmental Protection Agency, to avoid causing environmental pollution in New Taipei City, protect the ecology and maintain public safety, and then create New Taipei City as a livable city. This study attempts to comprehensively analyze the achievements of the New Taipei City Government Environmental Protection Bureau in promoting the management of toxic chemical substances and environmental agents in the past years, and proposes relevant strategies to make it possible for New Taipei City to become a leader of environmental protection units in the country for the management of environmental agents and toxic chemical substances. After comprehensively analyzing the results of the promotion over the years, this study proposes the following recommendations: 1. management of toxic chemical substances-(1) make full use of the system developed by the EPA to confirm the accuracy of the data (2) make a comprehensive confirmation of the coordinates of all operators. 2. management of environmental agents-(1) confirm the correctness of the operatorˇ¦s information and replace the guidance with inspection (2) create environmental agent safety posters and paste papers on markets, night markets, shops, etc. to strengthen the publicˇ¦s concept of environmental agents (3) the management system of environmental agents still needs to be reinforced, so that local environmental protection units can more quickly discover the abnormal flow of special environmental agents. |
