| Title | A Study on Mixed-Use Sports Space Planning in the Context of Campus Space Revitalization | ||
| Keyword | |||
| Abstract | This study explores mixed-use sports space planning in the context of campus space revitalization in response to the declining utilization of campus facilities caused by Taiwan's declining birth rate. A university of science and technology in New Taipei City was selected as the study site. The research integrates mixed-use space planning, campus space reuse, sports and recreational needs, green building materials, and fire safety and ventilation design to develop a planning model for a mixed-use sports space. The results indicate that flexible space allocation and diversified sports programs, including fitness training, yoga, aerobic exercise, and martial arts, can improve space utilization and operational efficiency. The use of low-formaldehyde and low-VOC green building materials, energy-efficient lighting, and high-efficiency ventilation systems can enhance indoor environmental quality, while integrated fire safety facilities improve user safety. The proposed membership-based operation estimates a construction cost of approximately NT$840,000 to NT$1,540,000. The findings demonstrate that the proposed planning model is feasible and may serve as a reference for future campus space revitalization and mixed-use sports space planning. |
