Abstract | The main purpose of this study is to explore the current status of work shifts, quality of life and physical and mental stress of field firefighters, analyze the differences between different personal attributes on two different variables: quality of life and physical and mental stress, and explore the relationship between quality of life and physical and mental stress. Taking 521 field firefighters of the Yilan County Government Fire Department as the subjects, using the Quality of Life Questionnaire (Google Questionnaire Form) and the Psychosomatic Stress Scale as tools, narrative statistics, t test, variance analysis, Pearson product-difference correlation and multivariate Regression and other statistical methods were used for analysis, and the conclusions are as follows: 1. Personal attributes such as gender, age, years of service, exercise habits, drinking habits, number of nights at work in the past week, and childrenˇ¦s schooling status have significant differences in the quality of life. 2. Personal attributes such as age, years of service, shift status, exercise habits, number of nights at work in the past week, and childrenˇ¦s schooling status have significant differences in physical and mental stress. 3. There is a moderate negative correlation between quality of life and physical and mental stress; the higher the quality of life, the lower the physical and mental stress. |
