| Abstract | Since many students of the hospitality department did not join the hospitality-related industry after graduation, which caused a lot of waste of educational resources, this study wants to explore whether the internship effectiveness of the hospitality department students has a significant impact on the willingness to stay and understand Are there significant differences in the effectiveness of internships and willingness to stay between students due to different demographic variables. This study also carries out the questionnaire. The study further takes a university of technology in New Taipei City as an example, issued 120 questionnaires and collected 93 questionnaires, in addition, eliminated 5 invalid questionnaires, and recovered 88 effective questionnaires with an effective response rate was 73.3%. This study adopts SPSS 20 version of statistical program and uses descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, independent sample T test, single factor variance analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and other analysis methods to analyze and verify the data. The results of this study found that: (1) The degree of recognition of students' internship efficiency belongs to the 3.88 , while the continued willingness in the tourism industry is 3.33 (2) There is a significant positive correlation between students' internship efficiency and their intention to continue. (3) There is no significant difference between the students' individual statistical variables on the internship efficiency and continue to stay. Based on the results of the study, This study makes the following related suggestions: (1) Schools should continue to promote off-campus internship courses, increase professional lecture courses. (2) Intern units should strengthen education and training, consider the actual manpower situation of each unit for work distribution. (3) Future research can expand the matrix of sampling, adding qualitative research methods and other different influencing factors. hoping that the results will be helpful for the future research on school, industry or other related research. |
