  • Abstract ¡@Long-term consumption of energy is used to supply the operations of hospitals so comfortable environment can be delivered to the patients. In recent years, with the rise of environmental awareness, the hospital replaced the traditional chiller with VFD chiller, switch the boilers ran by diesel with natural gas, and extended the dual-effect heat pump with the new large-scale as energy-saving improvement planning.
¡@This paper presented the use of improvement plan at one health care organization, as the result proven by adopting economic energy-saving concept actually enhanced efficiency of machine operation and reduced carbon dioxide creation. The method of verification is based on the international standard of ISO 50001 energy management system in this paper. The energy review regression model is used to establish energy baseline equation, The purpose of building energy baselines is to exclude other non-energy saving measures that lead to uncontrollable changes in energy use. Finally, compare the actual energy consumption of new equipment with estimative value form baseline equation. From the compared result, it can explicitly evaluate the energy efficiency improvement performance.
