Abstract |
Among industrial innovation and development these recent years, cost factors considered by businesses, automated factories to labor-intensive factories, and shifted to developing countries with lower labor costs. Thus, many businesses have to find problems and solutions effectively and rapidly when managing production efficiency, which is a problem encountered by current businesses. Traditionally, productivity-based indicators are used for assessment and are more suitable for static efficiency of factories. However, these kinds of indicators are no longer acceptable in modern social trends. The traditional productivity-based performance assessment is suitable for describing static efficiency of factories, but the ever-changing social situation is unable to provide sufficient information for decision makers. On the other hand, the network theory is good at modeling dynamic changes of things. Therefore, this study combines the process network model proposed by Chen and Lin (2009) with the scorecard mechanism, and discusses the performance evaluation and improvement methods of group performance bu means of SAP Business One implementation. The results show that the evaluation model proposed by Chen and Lin is applicable for a practical application. |
