| Abstract |
According to statistics from the 112th academic year, there are 145 colleges and universities nationwide, with a total student population of approximately 1.09 million [1]. Most of the school buildings are old, which makes it difficult to escape or rescue in the event of a disaster. This research case is based on National Chengchi University in Taipei. The focus of the research questionnaire survey and expert interview questions is to analyze the current status of (i) the selection of fire prevention managers, the promotion of fire prevention-related manpower, the formulation of fire protection plans, and the self-defense fire team drills; (ii) the maintenance and management of fire safety equipment, the standardized inspection and repair process, and the improvement of legal knowledge; and (iii) the division of responsibilities for building public safety and the preparation of building drawings and materials. The questionnaire survey is based on the Likert five-point scale and conducts a survey on the importance and implementation satisfaction of the three major management aspects of fire safety, fire safety, and building public safety among the faculty and staff of the research case. The results show that the average scores of each aspect are higher than the satisfaction, and the biggest difference between the average scores of importance and satisfaction survey is "having the correct fire prevention concept and fire response ability", "when equipment failure is found, repair can be started immediately through the repair system or contact, etc.", "normally closed fire doors are kept closed at all times and must not be locked" and "corridors, passages and other escape routes are kept unobstructed, and decorations or furniture and other debris are not allowed to be placed".Expert Interviews We invite senior industry, government and academic circles in the fields related to this study to conduct oral interviews on the topics and analyze the similarities and differences of each topic, and summarize countermeasures and conclusions as a reference for subsequent research extensions |
