  • Abstract To figure out the effiecency of waves energy consumption in various construction conditions by embankments, the study constructs with embankments in different heights to test the reflectivity, transmittance and energy consumption with variables of samples, cycles, surfaces and embankment distances by resistance gauge estimating datas, and drwas the figures into crass-comparison charts.
The experiment tests by random waves with different cycles. It turns out the result that series embankments has limited influence on short cycle wave, but the impact with midium-long cycle wave is obvious. However, the rough surface embankment influence is much ideal than smooth surface on energy comsumption. As for the samples and distance variables, there is no obvious consequence. It shows that will not be better to set excessive embankments. To get a balance on consideration of economy and efficency of energy descendent is the most important thing.
The experiment also shows the estimation if series embankments method can totally replace traditional way. Traditional engineering construction usually builds in hard way, it influences enviroment, ecology and exterior. To build with series embankments can not only prevent the coastal erosion but also benefit ecology and enviroment.
