Title A study on building an energy consumption baseline with Neural Network

  • Abstract Today is an era of energy shortages. The issue of energy conservation is particularly important. There are many factors that affect the efficiency of energy using. Energy consumption must be compared on the same basis. At present, international energy management standards such as ISO50001 and IPMVP etc. To find the energy baseline as an estimation function of the energy consumption behavior of the system, a linear regression method is generally used to establish the baseline.
    This article uses neural network modeling to establish the baseline. In addition to the external air temperature and humidity, the energy consumption factors also consider the number of patients visiting the hospital, and take the energy use data of a medical institution in the north as an example to discuss separately The linear regression and neural network modeling are based on the estimated error level at the baseline. The results show that the neural network is closer to the actual recorded data value.
