Abstract |
The Distributed Telephony Call Center (DTCC) is a call center with multiple sites jointly serving the same sources of calls. Because the various distance calls have different rates, a DTCC always has its telephony network shared with the backbone computer network in the corporation. Now, the call center is usually configured as a Computer-Telephony Integrated Call Center (CTICC). The decision of bandwidth for telephony network depends on experience. However, this is often insufficient for a sudden large amount of calls when the promotions go on. This approach will determine the lowest amount of bandwidth requirement under system failures. Example is given to illustrate the proposed method. |
