| Abstract |
A remote monitoring smart floor with fall and dementia detection functions has been proposed in this thesis in order to help elderly people who live alone. The rapidly industrialization and urbanization prompted the rapid change of family structure. There are more and more elderly to live alone for voluntary or involuntary reasons. The rapidly increasing the population of elderly people who lives alone derived many important issues. In those of issue, fall accident and dementia will cause immediate damage for elderly people living alone. Finally, the experiments show two important results. One is the alarm to aviod accidents. The other is the fall monitoring. |
