  • Abstract Fuel cell is widely accepted as a very ideal green energy source in consideration of sourcing new energies, environmental protection, social ecology, and enhancement of human life quality. Fuel cell is one of the latest technologies being researched and developed in most of the countries in the world, practical applications of fuel cell include power of vehicle and transportation, distributed power generation, power supply for 3C information products etc. However, the leakage of electrolyte due to catalysis and inherent limitation does affect or even impede the practical application of fuel cell.
Hence this study explores the Fuel Cell Leak Proof designs to resolve said problem by presenting the improving method without affecting the Fuel Cell quality at all. Methodologically this study tries to conduct the improvement and selection of material by focusing on green design and complying with all green policies and regulations; furthermore, this study evaluates the material improvement with AHP to select the materials that meet the critical requirement of the overall manufacturing process, takes into consideration of possible affection at each stage and also presents solutions to environmental threatening issues such as pollution to reduce the impacts to the environment. The motivation behind this study is to address the Fuel Cell leakage problem and to develop an effective solution by utilization of green design and AHP concepts.
