Abstract | The common problem for installation of residential fire safety equipment without maintenance and declaration is due to the lack of community management committees. Without proper understanding of the relevant legal regulations or the lack of funds, fire equipment gradually becomes malfunctioned. Due to the lack of community management committees, fire agencies are unable to deliver policies and decrees effectively. Moreover, the administrative procedures and the regulation of penalties are relatively complex. Without the establishment of effective contact counterparts, the public safety will be in danger in the long run. In this study, residents in Taipei area were investigated by questionnaires. SPSS statistical analysis software was used to analyze the results. The result shows that approximately 50.7% of the research subjects agree that it's beneficial to fire-fighting facility maintenance application to inform residents through the manger or financial committee. Besides, 83.5% of the research subjects believe that if there are ways to raise or subsidize, it will help to enhance the fire equipment repair declaration will. In addition, the result of the statistical analysis shows that residents living beneath 5th floor had significantly higher scores than those living in 11 to 15 floor on the degree of consent in the importance of fire prevention promotion. Furthermore, the more residents recognized the importance of the establishment of community management committee, the more they appreciate the importance of fire declaration and other relevant methods of fire prevention promotion. |
