| Abstract | Fire services have recently emphasized the importance of prevention, seeking to reduce disaster occurrence and prevent injuries, deaths, and property loss. This study explored the relationship between the knowledge and practices of people in Shenkeng District regarding home safety and fire safety and how factory managers assessed factory safety based on their factory management and fire safety measures. This paper provides suggestions on various aspects of fire prevention and safety to people and factory fire safety managers in Shenkeng District. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire constructed by modifying the home safety diagnostic table and the factory assessment table developed by the New Taipei City Fire Department. A sample comprising 150 people from eight boroughs of Shenkeng District and 50 fire safety managers from 50 large factories were administered the questionnaire, and home safety and factory safety were examined. In addition, this paper provides suggestions for safety improvement. By the point-plan method analysis: Home of the results need to Strengthen the guidance, and people prone to ignore the same items; The factory part, it has common items for administrative area or factory use, overall factory fire safety managers in Shenkeng District pay attention to the fire safety. |
