Title | Optimal Sizing Stand-alone PV Systems---a Case Study on Shenkeng Taiwan | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | This study mainly uses the actual climate data to verify the optimal PV system sizing theory proposed by Chen. Because Chen¡¦s Theory considers climate change factor, it is much suitable for the PV applications under the climate warming crisis. With the PV application area of this study limited to Shenkeng district of New Taipei city, the climate data is obtained from the laboratory in Tungnan University. This is because there is no record on Shenkeng district in Taiwan Weather Bureau. Therefore, this study provides a practical case study for industry. This study also makes a comparison between Chen¡¦s approach and the traditional sizing method in system configuration and annual present value analysis. |
