  • Abstract ¡@The main purpose of this thesis is on investigating the comparison between traditional coil spring fork with modern damping system fork Open-bath, Compression, Rebound, ocr. Besides, another aim is to discover the differences between damping system fork with and without additional spare parts.
First of all, within the same cycle time and period, in order to compare the differences, both forks are tested by the machine. Secondly, the damping system fork is also installed another spare parts, comparing with the original one. By setting the same cycle time as 120 rpm and 0.5m/s play and 80mm travel for the basis, the testing was divided into low speed rebound in open and close position, and lock out position.
The results of the first experiment, modern damping system fork is better than traditional coil spring one; the other experiment with three kinds not increase damping in the system in a number of different damping of the gasket, with better results and increase the gasket in the full open and full closed, experimental work well. Three pilot bicycle rider when it encounters a top road, shock absorbers can play the biggest role, make the rider can feel comfort and security as a whole.
