  • Abstract Sustainability is an important business philosophy adopted by major enterprises. Under the balanced mechanism concerning environment, society and the economic development, this research aims to assess the implementation and efficiency of the sustainable development plan.
    This research starts from the National Energy Conservation Plan issued on March 2010, to discuss in depth our countryˇ¦s sustainable development strategy and executing performance. It introduces evaluation systems 99001, 14031, 26000, 50001 defined by scholars and development association, the sustainable performance index and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). With the balanced score card, these four aspects can be categorized, and further extract the key sustainable performance evaluation indicators. Finally the Likert-Scale questionnaire can be used for the establishment of the information management system in the future.
    The information management system used by this research is written with VB (Visual Basic) to simulate the system program that can assess the sustainable development of the enterprise. Then the data chart is integrated with Excel to make the subjects realize more clearly the sustainable performance in practical aspects. The research makes concrete and substantial contribution in three ways: (1) Establishing of sustainable key performance evaluation indicator (2) Successful development of ˇ§sustainable performance evaluation management information systemˇ¨ which possesses complete evaluation (3) According to the empirical research, in the development of the enterprise, the lower key performance indicator is EC, Economic Perfomance Indicators, as for the secondary key performance indicators in the development are environmental burden (efficiency) indicator, cleaner production (environmental improvement) costs and climate change value, which can be referenced or used by related enterprises.
