  • Abstract Product sales forecasting is a traditional production management issue. It
    can be known from textbooks that the moving average method or exponential
    smoothing method is generally used for sales forecasting.
    However, the world situation is changing, the epidemic is serious, and the
    economies of the world are under tr emendous pressure from inflation, and interest rates are still highly raised. Therefore, it is worth exploring whether there is a forecasting method that can better reflect the situation. This paper attempts to use the probability theory of network reliabi lity to estimate the sales probability of the next period. This paper also presents a case study of electric appliance sales to illustrate how to apply network reliability to the sales forecasting application of
    home appliances.
