Abstract |
Termites are common pests in Taiwan, and there are many species. Termites are often the main reason for the destruction of furniture, buildings, forests, and farms. Therefore, termite prevention and control is a common problem in daily life. At present, termite control is usually carried out with insecticides or baits. Insecticides are characterized by fast control effects, but they are difficult to cure because termites in ant nests are more difficult to be used as medicine. The advantage of baits is that they can penetrate deep into the ant nest to achieve the purpose of radical control, but the control time may be extended, and serious ant damage will be slowed down. Therefore, an integrated control strategy may be a good choice. This article mainly focuses on the topic of bait prevention and control. This paper firstly use the network reliability theory to study on this topic. The calculation method of termite bait dosage and control effectiveness is proposed. The results show that the bait dosage and control reliability can be evaluated, which can provide industry for reference. |
