  • Abstract The purpose of this study is to apply Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) method, the discharge electrode adsorbing alumina abrasive particles, on the stainless steel surface polishing experiment within 10 minutes, the mirror effect of 0.06 £gm Ra. Its purpose is to improve the conventional polishing techniques, labor-intensive, low efficiency and the quality of the surface roughness of instability problems.
      This study focused on: homemade grinding mechanism set up on CNC milling machine, electrophoresis deposition to obtain alumina particles adsorbed amount of the voltage factors, spindle speed, solution PH optimum parameters and the concentration of abrasive. Then the following conditions are optimal parameters to explore load, speed, size and surface roughness of the relationship between time and find the optimal parameters of the polishing process, a mirror effect of 0.06 £gm Ra.
      From the experimental results presented erein,electrophoretic deposition polishing method, an apparatus is simple, easy to operate, can effectively improve the surface roughness, shorten the polishing time, improve production efficiency, to make industry competitive.
