Abstract | This action research thesis describes applying multiple intelligences theory on social skills teaching. The three targets consist of nine grade students with special needs in junior high school. Action research is adopted as the research method. The curriculums go to ten weeks. Classes are held once a week for 45 minutes each time. Data are collected and analyzed through the Multiple Intelligences Developmental Assessment Scales from B, teaching diaries, interview records, and teaching videoes. The results of the research are as follows: 1. The social skills teaching plan for the students with special needs can be developed with the medthos of action research. 2. Using multiple intelligences theory is able to improve studentsˇ¦ with special needs in junior high school social skills. 3. The researcher has reflections and growth through the action research. |
