  • Abstract Since 2001, Taiwan¡¦s Ministry of education has been developing life education and promoting the transformation of funeral industry towards Life etiquette industry. In recent years. In recent years, several companies within the funeral industry has already begun operating under cooperation system, providing very different professional and innovative services from traditional practices.
    To explore the key factors affecting mortuary mortician funeral director¡¦s intention of staying on job, a descriptive research was conducted on a specific company¡¦s entire stationed directors. 100% of survey conducted were recovered.
    Using data analysis we found out that when dimension questionnaire reliability £\>0.7 related analysis shows that work characteristics and society support have no direct correlation to intention of stay. Other than these two, the rest all matches P<0.05 positive correlation. Due to society support and job satisfaction are not of significance, society support does not affect job satisfaction. Due to society support and job satisfaction are not of significance, society support does not affect job satisfaction. Other Dimension and job satisfaction are of significant level. Using ANOVA analysis, we could see that age and gender are major factor affecting salary satisfaction up to (P<0.05). Different gender will also have different level of job satisfaction.
    Researches shows that salary satisfaction and job satisfaction will have the most effect on intention of stay. Work surroundings, human relationship and salary structure are aspects which we need to have a better understanding to adjust to employee¡¦s needs. Therefore we can increase employee¡¦s intention of stay and encourage them to spontaneously take initiative. Cut down managerial cost, strengthen cooperation human resources, increasing successful cases, and customer¡¦s brand loyalty are some of the major key areas to prolong a company¡¦s longevity.
