Title | The Study on the Adequacy of Skill Test for Plumbing and Wiring Technician Certification | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | As the social development keeps improving and the living standard gets higher, the skills of plumbing & wiring is upgrading as well. Therefore, the government sets into action to standardize the related proficiency certifications, which are the Indoor Wiring & Plumbing, these two licenses. In the meanwhile, it would separate different level by skill, thus people who work on ˇ§Indoor Wiring & Plumbingˇ¨ segment can have direction to follow. The research is focusing on the adequacy of the wiring & plumbing skill test primary level technician certifications, according to the history documents review, we could found that the certified standards of related certifications were modified very slowly since 1975 to 2013, thus the certification couldnˇ¦t fulfill what the supplier really need. It also caused that certifications couldnˇ¦t bring the benefits anymore. As the surveying result from the related workers, we realized the difference between skill of C class certifications and the existing demand. Itˇ¦s better to issue another proper certified standards base on above surveying, developing a training model and making the training demonstrator. After training class, the approval ratings of trainees are 90% satisfied. It would also be more suitable to current workers of their skill demand. |
