  • Abstract The rising awareness of environmental protection and the relative pollution caused by the greenhouse effect, the endless exploitation and use of resources, the damage to the global environment caused by urban development, and the impact of a large amount of waste gas on air quality have all caused great damage to the environment. To promote green building materials to check the health of the domestic construction industry and the Chinese people, improve the health of the interior decoration environment, pay attention to the importance of bringing green building materials into the indoor environment, establish a relevant mechanism for the green building materials market, create healthy, safe and high-quality living spaces, and integrate green building materials into the indoor environment. Combined application of building materials and interior decoration materials, promote the sustainable environment of green building materials and energy saving and carbon reduction policies, increase the popularity of the use of green building materials in interior decoration, promote the application of domestic green building materials to be more popular, and actively promote green building materials.
    The rise of the real estate industry in recent years has driven the development of interior design and decoration related industries. The awareness of green building materials and the concept of environmental protection has become more and more important. The indoor formaldehyde emission mainly comes from the use of decorative boards, laminated angle materials, adhesives, and paint surfaces. More and more attention is paid to health and ambient air quality. The indoor air quality will be affected by the decoration materials, and nine kinds of harmful substances such as formaldehyde and total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) will be released in the indoor environment one after another. It will cause carcinogenic harm to the human body. For the houses that have been decorated, formaldehyde detection is carried out, and the case house is divided into each space record, and each space decoration project and the test data record data are discussed and studied.
    The research results show that the general interior decoration uses green building materials in the interior space. The six cases in this study all show the first measurement value after completion, and most of the measurement values are higher than 0.08ppm (the actual measurement range is 0.04ppm). ppm ~ 0.46ppm). Using the efficiency of the ozone machine, closing the doors and windows of the whole room without ventilation and allowing the ozone machine to operate, the ozone efficiency will reduce the overall indoor formaldehyde concentration by an average of 61.5%. The above data shows that it can indeed effectively reduce the formaldehyde concentration
