  • Abstract In response to the increase of the load and security of electricity supply, Taipower Company created a project called ˇ§Taipower Company 7th transmission projectsˇ¨, however, the project is facing tremendous difficulty and canˇ¦t not be carried out smoothly. Therefore, the intention of this thesis will be focused on the effect of the construction delay by simulation software (PSS / E) and further questing possible solutions and strategies for this project. In this thesis, three analysis would be demonstrated: First ,the power flow analysis protects the transmission systems from the overload lines which violaties Taipower transmission system planning regulation;Next, the fault current analysis shows the system circuit breaker ability to isolate an accident or clear fault; Then, the transient stability analysis is utilized to evaluate the power supply system, and, through a special protection system (SPS), generator sets from random disturbances of the power supply system could be restored.
       With the improvement, the power system becomes more secure and stable.
