Abstract |
In the global competitive environment, continuous improvement is one of the important factors for enterprises to maintain their competitiveness. In order to achieve the goal of continuous improvement to develop adequate and accessible systems is necessary. As Robert Bell said that the goal of a successful suggestion system is to tap the reservoir of ideas and creative thinking of all employees for the improvement of the working process and products (Bell, 1997). Using A Company as an example, this article aims to provide both views from management and employee level to discuss the elements of a successful employee suggestion system. The results show that the factors affect employee to propose are including (1) bonus / reward (2) recognition / participation / affirmation / contribution (c) annual target / individual performance (4) honor / superiority / recognition, while management level are focusing on (1) production / work efficiency upgrade (2) to reduce costs (3) manufacturing technology to enhance and improve (4) to shorten the production cycle. |
