Title | Discussion of Interior Decoration Materials between Cram School and Unregistered Talent Class : A Case Study of Keelung City | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | In Taiwan, all legal cram school are registered. That is to say, they must acquire fire safety inspection certification from the Fire Department, building usage license from the Building administration and verification of register application from the Administration of Education. But, according to the laws, talent classes with less than five students do not have to be registered as cram school. So, since the Administration of Education doesnˇ¦t admit talent classes with less than five students as cram school, this becomes the blind spot of the decree and concerns of public security. This research will put talent class with less than five students and cram school together as a real case study in order to compare their interior compartment and decoration. After realizing the importance of fireproof materials, we will be able to provide advice for the fireproof security issue. After the comparison, we can tell that cram school uses materials with first-class fireproof certification. However, talent class with less than five students uses flammable decoration materials and sound-absorbing cotton without examination. The reason of people in charge ignoring public security concerns may be the lack of supervision of authorities. Furthermore, due to the restrictions of the decree, the government can not put these talent classes into the target of inspection. |
