Title | Development of a Circuit Device with Multiple-Channel Balanced Charging Function |

Keyword | |||
Abstract | This study introduces a simplified multi-path current balancing charging circuit designed to achieve balanced charging for multiple lithium battery packs.The implementation of this circuit is achieved through hardware components,offering the advantage of reducing both circuit elements and system maintenance costs. Currently, most charging products on the market employ a one-to-one charging approach when charging multiple battery packs,meaning that one charger corresponds to one battery pack.This method allows for monitoring and control of the charging and discharging states of lithium batteries,ultimately extending the lifespan of these battery packs. However,when extending this architecture to simultaneously charge multiple battery packs,the problem of inconsistent charging states arises.For example,one lithium battery pack may already be fully charged, while others remain undercharged due to imbalanced charging currents. This paper describes the principles and the process of implementing the multi-path current balancing charging circuit, achieving simultaneous charging for multiple battery packs and ensuring consistency.The aim is to enhance the battery lifespan and reduce maintenance costs. |
