  • Abstract This study aims to explore their usage motivations, frequency of use, platforms adopted, and the key factors influencing their adoption. A questionnaire survey was employed as the primary research method, yielding 504 responses, of which 503 were valid. Reliability analysis showed a Cronbach¡¦s £\ of 0.969, indicating a high level of internal consistency in the scale. The results reveal that the main reasons Vietnamese residents in Taiwan use mobile payment include convenience, reduction of cash handling, and cross-border financial needs. Among the influencing factors, convenience, security, and suitability demonstrated significant correlations with usage patterns, while social influence also played an important role in usage intention. Furthermore, the study found notable differences in platform choice and frequency of use across different identity categories, including migrant workers, marriage immigrants, and international students. Overall, this research not only helps fill the gap in studies on cross-national groups¡¦ use of mobile payment in Taiwan but also provides practical insights for financial institutions and mobile payment service providers in promoting cross-cultural financial services.
