Title A Study on The Influences of Disparities between Employment Intentions and Employment Status for The Veterans of Voluntary Military services

  • Abstract The study is subject to the investigation of the influences of disparities between employment intentions and employment status for the veterans of voluntary military services. For the investigation in the study, totally 540 questionnaires were issued and 540 were effectively received with effective recovery of 100%. With the implementation of SPSS 22.0, the quantitative analyses, including descriptive statistical analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, dimensional analysis, independent sample T test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Chi-squared test, and cross analysis were introduced to demonstrate the situation.
    As the results demonstrated by the tools and tests, ¡§retirement systems¡¨, ¡§human capital¡¨, ¡§social adjustment¡¨, and ¡§external factors¡¨ possess significant correlations with employment intentions and status. Furthermore, the personal background was also demonstrated the significant correlations with the intentions and status, that is, the employment intentions is determined by physical and psychological health. In addition, the investigation also observed veterans who are 65 years old or above, not in good physical or mental condition, or without college degree, would not consider the work environment for the employment; whereas those who are middle-aged and elderly, obtain college degree or above, or keep in good health, would keep a positive attitude to achieve their accomplishment.
