Abstract | In recent years, the world has continued to face natural disasters. Extreme weather was unusual in Taiwan. Most countries endeavor in the development of environmental polices and regulations. The environment protection has become the important issue for company. Based on the EU's RoHS¡]The Restriction of Hazardous Substances¡^Directive, the research explores the issues of green supplier selection in electronics industry by a real case of an electronic company that pursues the green supply chain management. In this research the Delphi method is applied to establish the evaluation criteria of green supplier selection. After that, the FAHP (Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process) is used to assist a domestic electronic company in the adjustment at evaluation criteria and the appraisement of qualified suppliers. Finally, the eligible green supplier is selected. With this evaluation process, the criteria are selected, suppliers are rated, and the advantages and disadvantages of suppliers are compared. This research method can be used for practical application in green supplier selection. It assists the decision makers selecting the proper green supplier to ensure competitive advantage, achieve business continuity and development goal. |
