Abstract | In recent years, fires have spread frequently, causing many casualties. According to the statistics of the Fire Department of the Ministry of the Interior, dense smoke ranks among the top three causes of fire deaths in the past two years. Among them, taking 108 as an example, the number of fires reached 22,866. Building fires occurred the most, and residential fires occurred the most. Among them, stove cooking and electrical factors occurred the highest, while building fires were the most frequent The kitchen, bedroom, and living room have a high frequency of occurrence, and harmful gases are the first cause of death due to heavy smoke in 108 years, and flame burning is the second. The automatic smoke exhaust fan is an independent item. Compare its advantages and disadvantages with the systematic smoke exhaust equipment, such as operating time, air volume, price, public acceptance, etc., to explore the practicality of the product after its release. The conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) The automatic smoke exhaust fan can operate within 30 seconds of the time specified by the smoke exhaust equipment, and it will exert its effect in the initial stage of the fire. (2) The greater the temperature difference of the automatic exhaust fan, the faster the action. (3) The exhaust air volume of the automatic exhaust fan is reversed according to the air volume specified by the exhaust equipment, which can protect a room of about 20 square meters. (4) The air volume of the automatic exhaust fan is fixed, and there is no obvious difference between each test. (5) There are almost no fire-fighting and smoke-exhausting equipment in people's homes. (6) The survey results found that nearly 90% of people are willing to install automatic smoke exhaust fans.
