Abstract |
This study aims at investigating listening anxiety and its relationship with listening strategy use and listening comprehension among technological university students. One hundred and seventy-three students from the Applied English Department of Tungnan University were selected for this study. To collect the data, two instruments were used: Foreign Language Listening Anxiety Scale (FFLAS), and a semi-structured interview. The results of this study will provide insights into how to identify the sources of listening comprehension anxiety that Taiwanese students may have in their English listening comprehension classes. Such an exploration may contribute to presenting effective strategies to help students overcome their anxieties in English listening comprehension class and make an English listening comprehension class less stressful. |
