Abstract |
The purpose of this paper is to study the beauties and strengths of Shi Ding and share the information gathered with the public to attract more visitors to visit Shi Ding. To achieve this purpose, in addition to gathering data concerning the historical background and cultural heritage of Shi Ding from books on Shi Ding, we used our self-designed questionnaire with close-ended questions to elicit responses from visitors to Shih Ding, and randomly chose 50 Shi Ding visitors as subjects for the present study and asked them to respond to our questionnaire questions. Based on the results of the survey and information gathered from books on Shi-Ding, we identified the three main attractions and strengths of Shi-Ding—local cuisines, historical scenic spots, and mountain and hiking trails. Tourists visiting Shi-Ding can take them into consideration in planning their itinerary—enjoying local cuisines, visiting historical scenic spots, hiking mountain trails and appreciating the natural beauty and local food and tea culture of Shi-Ding. |
