Abstract | ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to explore the vocabulary learning strategies of English majors in a Taiwan university of technology. A questionnaire, adapted from Schmitt’s (1997) was administered to EFL learners studying English as a major at a Taiwan university of technology. They were asked to indicate the frequency of vocabulary learning strategy use. The vocabulary learning strategies most frequently used and those used least often were reported. Applications and implications based on the research results and the relevant future studies were discussed. |
