Title | To Build Resource Recycling of Low Carbon Living Circle in the Northern Taiwan by Using Kinki Circle in Japan as a Sample | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | To reduce waste material, resource recycling includes green design, green consumption, green purchasing, source reduction, reusing, material recycling and regeneration To follow the international low carbon trends, the Environment Protection Administration (EPA) in Taiwan tries to construct Taiwan to be a low carbon country, therefore, it proposes a plan to construct low carbon country from communities to living circles. The objective of the study is to build resource recycling of low carbon circle in the northern Taiwan by using Kinki circle in Japan as a sample. The Kinki circle sets up series of environmental policy to combine with environment and economy to reduce waste and enhance recycle and reuse. The average trash amount was reduced from 0.658Kg/day/person in 2007 to 0.583 Kg/day/person 2011. The study suggests that kitchen wastes and agricultural wastes need to be care by increasing some facilities, and the falling leaves could be land filled in schools and parks. Meanwhile, the environmental education for peoples and change of living habits is very important. |
